General Description
8Accounts Payable CoordProvides daily supervision of accounts payable staff. Maintains and enforces accounts payable procedures and guidelines, working within Florida statutes and established Valencia regulations. Evaluates new processes and procedures as needed to streamline our business practices. Works with other college staff and departments on changes/upgrades to applicable software. Analyzes accounts payable data and prepares all reports and information requests. Works in conjunction with campus Business Office Coordinators in issuance of weekly student financial aid and refund checks.
11Adjunct InstructorResponsible for teaching in a continuing education discipline in which he/she has specific training and/or competence. Plans, organizes, and facilitates in a manner to promote and guide successful student knowledge/skill acquisition, either on-campus or at off-campus sites, in keeping with Valencia's learning-centered values and goals. Language instructors guide successful language acquisition in keeping with the Communicative Approach to foreign language instruction.

10Accounts Receivable CoordinatorProvides daily supervision of accounts receivable staff. Maintains and enforces accounts receivable procedures and guidelines, working within Florida statutes and established Valencia policies and procedures. Evaluates new processes and procedures as needed to streamline business practices. Works with other college staff and departments on changes/upgrades to applicable software. Works in conjunction with campus Business Office Coordinators on weekly student refunds, collection efforts, private scholarships and international student deposits.
2Academic AdvisorProvides developmental advising to students and program assistance in student services areas.
4Accounting ClerkPerforms routine and non-routine accounting duties related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, or other accounting functions.
20Assistant Chief Info OfficerResponsible for the oversight, coordination and operation of all technology services, projects and policies at a tactical level. Ensures operational coordination and collaboration between the Office of Information Technology (OIT), business partners, and other functional units within the College. Responsible for the overall effectiveness of the OIT organization in serving the College and or overseeing IT-related initiatives that will strengthen college-wide IT services, while helping the college operate more efficiently. Key responsibilities include: department-wide communications, process improvement, technology consulting to various college constituents; and development of external relationships as appropriate, to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Supervises a team of IT professionals, is a member of the OIT Senior Leadership Team and serves on a variety of College committees representing OIT.
21Associate General CounselAssists the General Counsel in providing advice involving legal matters arising from operations of the College; Serves in a support role in areas of actual and potential legal liability, including but not limited to advising administrators, faculty, staff and others on federal and state laws and regulations, and College policies and procedures; Drafts, reviews, and negotiates legal documents and contracts; Monitors and advises on College compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements; Advises and renders legal opinions with respect to the legal necessity and implications of establishing or changing College policies; Assists in the drafting and adoption of College policies and procedures; Works with representatives from various departments on developing and modifying protocols, practices and procedures to conform with legal requirements and College policy; May act as a liaison with outside legal firms; Maintains current knowledge of all legislation affecting the overall activities of the College.
12Adjunct ProfessorPrimarily responsible for teaching in discipline or discipline areas in which he/she has specific training and/or competence. Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student learning in keeping with Valencia's learning­centered values and in a manner that meets the essential competencies of a Valencia educator. Responds to students in a timely manner and communicates with the discipline and division via college-provided tools and resources.
13Asst Dir, Client Service CntrResponsible for oversight of the Client Service Center (CSC) department across multiple campuses of the college. Plans, develops, and implements enrollment management strategies to support the growth of Continuing Education programs. Oversees the department’s recruiting, advising, and registration of Continuing Education students to support student retention and success. This position reports to the Director, Continuing International Education.
14Admin Mgr, CPE ProjectsThe CPE Project Manager applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to design and implement projects that support the work of Continuing Education's Professional Education. This role directly supports the work of the Director in creating, managing, and marketing programs for the CPE team.
16Admin Mgr, Int'l Prgrm DevelopResponsible for developing and supporting relationships with agents, international partner institutions, and educational partners in order to increase international student enrollment in the department's international programs. Develops new educational programs in support of departmental goals and objectives.
17Admin Mgr, Language ProgramResponsible for the research, development, and implementation of language programs, courses, and curriculum. Duties include market research and marketing, maintaining the program budgets, creating course schedules, managing instructors, implementing new curriculum and courses to meet students' needs, and updating existing curriculum.
31Coord, Academic AffairsThis position provides administrative, enrollment, facilities, and technology support to all functions within the Campus President’s Office on East Campus. This position reports to the Campus Dean of Academic Affairs and exercises considerable initiative, independent judgment, and discretion.
32Administrative AssistantResponsible for providing advanced and complex clerical, secretarial, and general support to management. Exercises initiative, independent judgment and discretion in carrying out assignments.
